A one-hour workshop on the dos and don’ts of advocating to politicians. The workshop covers:
- Writing effective letters
- Having influential meetings with Ministers and local MPs
The workshop is suitable for up to twenty people.
Developing an advocacy strategy

Two two-hour workshops that will help you develop an advocacy strategy on a real issue you bring. The workshop will assist you to:
- Articulate your advocacy goals
- Identify potential advocacy partners
- Identify the key decision-makers
- Identify the decisions that need to be made (e.g. legislative change, budget allocation, policy changes)
- Communicate clearly with the decision-makers
- Adapt your strategy in the light of new developments (e.g. elections, changes of Minister)
There will be homework to complete between the workshops.
The workshop is suitable for up to ten people.
